Fresher and more lively than the 2009, but not as concentrated, the 2008 Domaine de Baron'Arques shows excellent notes of plum, blackcurrant, chocolate and plenty of spicy oak on the palate in its medium to full-bodied, ripe and structured style. A beautiful red wine that seems to have one foot in Bordeaux and the other in the South. .
