Description

Italy / Piedmont / Langhe

The Chardonnay GD is dedicated to Giacomo Damilano, the namesake of the winery. Giacomo took over the winery from his father-in-law and set decisive new accents that significantly increased the quality of the wines. Today, cousins Paolo, Mario and Guido are the fourth generation to run the family business. The vineyards are managed in an environmentally friendly way and the company is gradually converting to natural cultivation.
The GD is one of the house's top products - an elegant Chardonnay, of which only a very limited amount is produced each year. The grapes for this Chardonnay come from a small vineyard in Monforte d'Alba, which is planted with 25-year-old vines.
