The Chardonnay G.D. is dedicated to Giacomo Damilano, who gave the winery its name. Giacomo took over the winery from his father-in-law and set decisive new accents that significantly increased the quality of the wines. Today, the fourth generation runs the family business with the cousins ​​Paolo, Mario and Guido. The vineyards are cultivated in an environmentally friendly manner and it is gradually being converted to organic cultivation.
The G.D. is one of the top products of the house - an elegant Chardonnay, of which only a very limited amount is produced annually. The grapes for this Chardonnay come from a small vineyard in Monforte d'Alba, which has 25-year-old vines is stocked.
