"In 2017, all the Cabernet Franc froze, so L'Evangile is made from 100% Merlot for the first time. It shows aromas of blueberry jam, baked plums and black raspberries before revealing nuances of spice cake, cinnamon stick, dusty earth and garrigue, as well as a hint of incense. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, multi-layered and complex, with firm, ripe, rounded tannins and enough freshness, long and spicy in the finish. "
