The 2020 L'Evangile was harvested quite early as the estate's relatively young vines suffered from drought, and the decision seems to have been wise as the wine has developed very well. It has aromas of dark berries, plums, vine smoke and violets, is medium to full-bodied, fleshy and complex, with velvety tannins and an elegant, harmonious profile that avoids any excess.
