Château La Violette 2020

Château La Violette is one of Pomerol’s most exclusive and smallest estates – an almost mythical boutique cru. Its few hectares of terroir lie on the coveted Pomerol plateau and are marked by fine iron-rich clay and gravelly topsoils. This combination ensures perfect water regulation, deep rooting and exceptional aromatic concentration. Pure Merlot forms the heart of the wine: fragrant, sensual and shaped by characteristic violet and iris notes that give the estate its name. Vinification is carried out in tiny lots with meticulous care and the strictest selection. The result is exceptionally elegant, luxurious and rare wine with great depth, silky texture and remarkable longevity – true Pomerol jewels.
