The talented winemaker Stephan von Neipperg runs the 19th-century château purchased by his family. Since 1996 we are long-lasting wines under the name La Mondotte are developed here in their own cellar. The 4.5 hectare vineyards of La Mondotte are located on a clay-limestone plateau east of Saint-Émilion. This little jewel of a vineyard has all the natural characteristics of a Premier Grand Cru Classé. The flat, barren soil ensures excellent water regulation, combined with excellent sun exposure, the grapes can fully ripen and be harvested in ideal conditions every year. La Mondotte has been organic certified since 2014.
