The Clarence of Haut Brion

Château Haut-Brion
France | Bordeaux | Pessac-Léognan
Lisa Perrotti-Brown for Robert Parker

"The 2018 Le Clarence de Haut-Brion is deep garnet purple and jumps out of the glass with exuberant aromas of black cherry compote, baked plums and blackberry pie, as well as hints of star anise, undergrowth and charcoal. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied and of impressive freshness with fine-grained tannins that support the juicy black fruits and finishes on an earthy note. "
