Neal Martin for Robert Parker
The 2016 Giscours is a blend with the highest proportion of Cabernet in recent years. Naturally, this dominant proportion of Cabernet drives the aromatics with blackberry, cedar and graphite flavors. On the palate it is very well structured, more masculine than the 2015 and perhaps without the same level of precision, but this Giscours has great density and length. It is an impressive successor to last year's Giscours.
