The 2017 Duhart-Milon is deep garnet-purple in color and displays open, expressive aromas of black plum, Black Forest gateau and blueberry compote, as well as spicy hints of wood smoke, beef fat, black olives and caraway with a hint of cassis. The palate is medium-bodied, packed with juicy black plum flavors and a soft texture carried by an endless freshness, and finishes spicy. Very well done.
