Château Duhart-Milon, a 4ème Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 classification, lies west of Pauillac and belongs to the Lafite-Rothschild portfolio. The vineyards rest on gravel- and sand-rich soils over limestone, providing optimal drainage and deep root penetration. Cabernet Sauvignon clearly dominates and gives the wines structure, tension and classic Pauillac notes of cedar and cassis, while Merlot adds elegance and fullness.
