Miraval

Château de Miraval has been closely connected with art long before Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt acquired it in 2008. The estate once belonged to the French jazz musician Jacques Loussier, who integrated a recording studio where, alongside many famous musicians, Pink Floyd put the finishing touches to their album ‘The Wall’.

The estate has built a reputation as a refuge for artists and musicians, and its wine production is guided by a spirit of innovation and experimentation. Every bottle of Miraval is a work of art that reflects passion and dedication to exceptional quality.

Viticulture also has a long tradition at Château de Miraval. The vineyards are laid out on distinctive dry-stone terraces that were built as early as the 19th century. Under the guidance of top southern French winemaker Marc Perrin, the first-class vinified Miraval is produced here and ranks among the finest rosés of Provence.

Provence

Origin in Focus

Provence

Provence in south-eastern France is famous for its light-filled landscapes, Mediterranean climate and, above all, elegant rosé wines. On limestone-rich to schistous soils, cooled by the Mistral, juicy, delicately dry rosés are produced with aromas of red berries, citrus and garrigue herbs. Important appellations include Côtes de Provence, Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence and Bandol; the latter is also known for structured red wines made from Mourvèdre.
