The 2019 Cos d'Estournel has developed brilliantly and shows aromas of minty cassis, sweet wild berries and wild plums that mingle with hints of spices, loamy earth and potpourri. It is full-bodied, enveloping and polished. Its lush framework of fine, velvety tannins is fully integrated into the deep core of juicy, crisp fruit. Over the last decade, the château has changed a lot in the vineyard and cellar - in 2019, the results speak for themselves.

Louis Gaspard d'Estournel inherited Cos d'Estournel in 1791. Convinced that the hill's terroir was exceptional, Louis acquired the neighboring plots to expand his estate to 45 hectares.

The Bordeaux Classification of 1855 classified Cos d'Estournel as a Deuxième Cru. The owner since 2000 has been Michel Reybier.

The wines of Cos d'Estournel are characterized by their depth, complexity and elegance. They arepraised for their ability to evolve over timeand gain depth and character. Cos d'Estournel also produces a second wine called "Les Pagodes de Cos", which is also of high quality.
