The deep garnet 2015 Cos d'Estournel offers aromas of cherry pie, chocolate mint, baked red currants, warm cassis and wild blueberries, as well as hints of lilac, cinnamon stick and Indian spice. Medium to full-bodied, the palate explodes with vibrant red and black fruits and tons of exotic spice accents, framed by super ripe, super firm tannins and a beautiful line of freshness that finishes very long .

Louis Gaspard d'Estournel inherited Cos d'Estournel in 1791. Convinced that the hill's terroir was exceptional, Louis acquired the neighboring plots to expand his estate to 45 hectares.

The Bordeaux Classification of 1855 classified Cos d'Estournel as a Deuxième Cru. The owner since 2000 has been Michel Reybier.

The wines of Cos d'Estournel are characterized by their depth, complexity and elegance. They arepraised for their ability to evolve over timeand gain depth and character. Cos d'Estournel also produces a second wine called "Les Pagodes de Cos", which is also of high quality.
