Description

France / Champagne

The Krug Rosé 24ème Édition was blended in 2012. Frost, storms, and hail in spring were followed by the driest ripening season since 1974. A challenging year with very low yields and exceptionally high quality. The fifth generation of the Krug Champagne house is responsible for this 24th edition of the Cuvée Rosé and has impressively realized their dream of an exceptional champagne. They selected grapes from small plots and assembled these wines with older vintages. The special characteristic of this Rosé lies in the skin-fermented Pinot Noir, which gives it its incomparable color, power, and aromas.

Champagne Krug

Champagne Krug is regarded as one of the most iconic voices of Champagne – a house that has stood uncompromisingly for individuality, depth and craftsmanship since 1843. Founded by Johann-Joseph Krug with the vision of creating the most perfect Champagne every year, the Maison still follows this philosophy today: every Krug cuvée is an artful mosaic of dozens of individual base wines and several vintages.

Krug Champagnes combine power and precision with exceptional aromatic diversity: brioche and nutty richness, saline minerality, vibrant structure and a rare, almost orchestral complexity. Above all, Grande Cuvée – composed each year as its own edition – is considered worldwide to be one of the finest non-vintage prestige cuvées.

Krug stands for luxurious craftsmanship, exceptional longevity and a style that has fascinated collectors and enthusiasts for generations.
