Rheinhessen

Rheinhessen, Germany’s largest wine-growing region, lies between Mainz, Bingen and Worms and is shaped by gentle hills, fertile loess and limestone soils, and a mild climate. Versatile wines are produced here, above all fresh, often fruit-driven Rieslings and Pinot Blanc, as well as characterful Silvaner and increasingly exciting red wines such as Pinot Noir.
