Description

Germany / Rheinhessen

An elegant Blanc de Noirs (100% Pinot Noir) from the renowned sparkling wine house Raumland. Delicate aromas of pear, apricot chutney, and small red berries rise from a fine brioche compote, accompanied by reductive notes such as flint and chalky minerality. The fine perlage remains present on the palate, enveloped by salty spice, a delicate play of fruit sweetness and acidity, and a long, elegant finish.

Origin in Focus

Rheinhessen

Rheinhessen, Germany’s largest wine-growing region, lies between Mainz, Bingen and Worms and is shaped by gentle hills, fertile loess and limestone soils, and a mild climate. Versatile wines are produced here, above all fresh, often fruit-driven Rieslings and Pinot Blanc, as well as characterful Silvaner and increasingly exciting red wines such as Pinot Noir.
