Description

A sophisticated premium sparkling wine made from 100% Pinot Blanc, predominantly from Dalsheimer Bürgel, with over 90 months of lees aging. The long maturation gives it a delicate, ripe quince, grapefruit, and nectarine fruit, along with nutty and chalky notes. Complex and elegant on the palate, with brilliant perlage, crisp acidity, and a long, salty-mineral finish.

Origin in Focus

Rheinhessen

Rheinhessen, Germany’s largest wine-growing region, lies between Mainz, Bingen and Worms and is shaped by gentle hills, fertile loess and limestone soils, and a mild climate. Versatile wines are produced here, above all fresh, often fruit-driven Rieslings and Pinot Blanc, as well as characterful Silvaner and increasingly exciting red wines such as Pinot Noir.
