Description
Switzerland / German-speaking Switzerland / Graubünden
Gantenbein Winery is located on the outskirts of the wine village of Fläsch in the Bündner Rheintal, nestled among vineyards. Martha and Daniel Gantenbein have only been producing wine here since 1982, yet they are already considered world-class winemakers. Their focus is on meticulous and uncompromising work in the vineyard and cellar; nothing should diminish the quality of the grapes. Five hectares of the vineyards are planted with Pinot Noir. Here, the best grapes are rigorously selected and processed as gently as possible. The result of these very small yields of enormous quality is an impressive wine that is as rare as it is sought after. Gantenbein's Pinot Noir is one of Switzerland's best wines, a cult wine.
