Description

Spain / Mallorca / Pla i Llevant

Toni Gelabert, the traditional winemaker Nahe Manacor in Mallorca, makes Burgundian-style wines that are extremely difficult to find here. Toni's family has been committed to biodynamic viticulture since its foundation in 1979, so the old vines are bursting with health. It goes without saying that, against this background, the grape harvest is done exclusively by hand, a pre-selection already takes place in the field, and a final selection is also made by hand. The effort he puts in is enormous. The result is worth it: the wines are fine, elegant, mineral - all in harmony with nature!

Whether fruit-driven white wine or powerful red wine, every drop tells of sun, wind and the passion of a winemaker who carries Mallorca in his heart.

Origin in Focus

Mallorca

Mallorca has developed from a holiday island into a serious wine region. The Mediterranean climate, with cooling sea breezes and limestone-rich, often sparse soils, produces characterful, sun-warmed wines. Indigenous varieties such as Manto Negro and Callet yield spicy-fruity, rather elegant reds; Premsal and Giró Ros stand for saline-fresh, herbaceous white wines.
