The wine comes into the glass in a strong, very dark garnet-violet color. It has an overwhelming bouquet of juicy dark fruits, spicy cedar wood mixed with a hint of dried tobacco leaves and red chili flakes. On the palate it is fresh, multi-layered, complex, with a framework of soft tannins and a long, mineral finish.
