<b>San Leonardo has been owned by the Guerrieri Gonzaga family for more than three centuries. The long family tradition is reflected in every corner of the winery. Marquis Tullo, an oenology enthusiast, reoriented the winery at the beginning of the 20th century. His son Carlo was the family's first trained winemaker. With his enthusiasm for great wines, he dedicates all his attention and time to San Leonardo. He passed on his passion and love for wine to his son Anselmo, who now manages the winery. In 2015, he converted the winery to organic viticulture so that he could further increase the quality and terroir expression of his wines.

Origin in Focus

Trentino

Trentino in northern Italy is shaped by an alpine climate, steep slopes and cool nights – ideal conditions for fresh, aromatic wines. It is especially known for elegant sparkling wines made by the traditional method as well as crisp white wines from Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and Müller-Thurgau. Among the reds, Pinot Nero and Teroldego dominate: the former fine and fragrant, the latter dark, spicy and characterful.
