The Massetino 2021 is a high-quality red wine from the renowned Tenuta dell'Ornellaia, located in the prestigious Bolgheri wine region in Tuscany. This wine, first produced in 2017, represents the second wine of the famous Masseto and reflects the excellence of the winery.

Wine profile: Masseto Massetino 2021

Expansion: The grapes were hand-harvested into 15kg crates. After destemming and a gentle crushing, fermentation occurred spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in concrete tanks at temperatures of 25–28°C. Maceration lasted 21 to 25 days. Malolactic fermentation and subsequent aging took place in barriques, with 50% new barrels. After 12 months, the wine was blended and aged for an additional 3 months in barriques, followed by bottle aging before release.
