The Poggio Antico winery is located on a rocky outcrop at 450 meters above sea level in the Montalcino region, a unique position within Brunello. Due to its high elevation, a constant fresh breeze blows – this cooling influence, combined with the Tuscan sun, lends the wines their special elegance and finesse. The winery meticulously cultivates its vines, sustainably since 2020, thus achieving healthy and ripe grapes which are rigorously selected in the cellar. A Riserva is only bottled every few years, as all conditions must be perfect to achieve an exceptionally long aging potential.
