The Poggio Antico winery is located on a rocky outcrop 450 meters above sea level in the Montalcino region and is unique due to its location in Brunello. A fresh breeze is constantly blowing through the high altitude - this cooling influence coupled with the Tuscan sun gives the wines their special elegance and finesse. The winery cultivates its vines in an exemplary manner, biodynamically since 2020 and thus obtains healthy and mature grapes, which are strictly selected in the cellar. A Riserva is only bottled every few years, because all the conditions have to be perfect for this in order to achieve an extremely long shelf life.
