The Korrell-Johanneshof winery is located on the Nahe in Bad Kreuznach. The Korrell family has been growing wine here since 1832. The winery is now 27 hectares in size. Today, Martin Korrell is the sixth generation to run the winery. Martin Korrell aligns his work in the vineyard biodynamically and produces top-class wines through consistently reduced yields, pure manual work and lovingly ambitious aging in the cellar. The grapes for this vintage sparkling wine are grown on red sandstone weathered soil. While years ago Martin Korrell was considered an insider tip from the Nahe, today he is more of a shooting star, who convinces with extraordinary wines instead of big words!

The Korrell winery is guided by a philosophy that can be summed up in three core concepts: authentic, personable and sustainable. This authenticity is evident in their classic and puristic wines, which have been carefully perfected and refined.

Korrell's philosophy can be summed up in the principle "less is more". This means concentrating on the essentials and giving the vines in the vineyard the attention they need. The focus is on Riesling, which is considered to be the grape variety that best represents Germany and the Nahe region.

A notable step for the winery was the switch to organic viticulture in 2023. This not only brought more greenery, but also significantly more manual labor. The Korrell team is grateful for the hard work of their vineyard staff, who often operate in secret and are essential to the winery's success.

The winery owner's personal favorite wine is the Riesling Paradies, which represents a deep connection to the winery's origins and its location in the heart of the Nahe Valley. For him, this wine is more than just a drink - it symbolizes gratitude and connection to the history and heritage of the Korrell winery.
