Description
France / Bourgogne / Côte de Beaune / Meursault
In 1825, the wine enthusiast shoemaker Pierre Faiveley founded a small wine shop near Dijon. In the third generation, Georges Faiveley took over the management of the family business. Today he is one of the great wine legends of Burgundy, because together with his friend Camille Rodier he founded the "Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin" - the still very active and probably the most famous wine brotherhood in the world. The plots cultivated by the Faiveley family in Meursault offer an excellent terroir for exceptional Chardonnays.
