2013 was a dream year , says Chris. This 2013 Hoffmann Vineyard Shiraz is extraordinary. It's monumentally big , but it shows finesse and detail in the mouth that goes beyond the alcohol and the ever-present tannin. The tannins... they're ultra-fine and totally marbled with fruit. They drag the flavor across the tongue - I can still taste it two minutes later. It's extraordinary.
