Château Simone Rosé Palette 2024

Château Simone lies in the tiny Palette appellation near Aix-en-Provence and is regarded as one of the most characterful addresses in Provence. The vineyards climb cool, north-facing slopes with limestone-rich, stony soils – perfect conditions for slow-ripening grapes and impressive aromatic depth. Old vines, some more than 50 years old, deliver low yields but high concentration. The estate is especially famous for its complex white wines, dominated by traditional varieties such as Clairette and Grenache Blanc, while the rosé and red wines also show great class: spicy, powerful cuvées with notes of red fruit, herbs, noble spice and firm structure. Traditional vinification and long ageing in wooden casks provide longevity and an almost classic feel. Ideal for discerning Provence lovers and collectors who look beyond typical rosé clichés.
