The 2018 Rauzan-Ségla exudes a powerful, energetic aroma of black cherries, blackcurrant liqueur and mulberries, as well as notes of violets, star anise, chocolate mint with a hint of tobacco leaves. On the palate, it is packed with taut, muscular black fruit layers supported by firm, ripe, grainy tannins and great freshness, and finishes with a fantastic length and loads of earthy sparks.
