Description
Description
France / Bordeaux / Médoc / Margaux
Rauzan-Ségla is located in the heart of the Margaux appellation on a 70-hectare vineyard. Nicolas Audebert, who first made a name for himself as a winemaker at Krug's Clos du Mesnil and then at Cheval des Andes in Argentina, is now responsible for Château Rauzan Ségla. His Margaux is produced on a true geological mosaic of 21 different soil formations. This ensures the complexity of the blend and thus the multi-layered character of the wine. Work in the vineyards is sustainable, and the grapes are hand-picked and selected. This results in wines with freshness and elegance, a modern wine style that highlights the connection to the terroir.
