Description

France / Bordeaux / Médoc / Margaux

In the heart of the Margaux appellation, Rauzan-Ségla sits on a 70-hectare vineyard. Nicolas Audebert, who first made a name for himself as a winemaker at Krug's Clos du Mesnil and then at Cheval des Andes in Argentina, is now responsible for Château Rauzan Ségla. His Margaux is created on a veritable geological mosaic made up of a total of 21 different soil formations. This ensures the complexity of the assemblage and thus the complexity of the wine. The work in the vineyards is sustainable, the grapes are harvested and selected by hand. This is how wines with freshness and elegance are created, a modern wine style that brings out the reference to the terroir.
