Château Malescot Saint Exupéry

Château Malescot Saint-Exupéry, 3ème Grand Cru Classé from 1855, lies in the heart of Margaux and has a terroir of deep gravel, clay and limestone subsoils. This combination offers ideal conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and smaller proportions of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The wines are marked by intense dark fruit, floral notes, fine spice and a supple yet structured tannin architecture.

In recent decades, the estate has experienced an impressive qualitative renaissance under the Zuger family, supported by modern vinification, parcel precision and sustainable farming. The style combines Margaux typicity with opulent depth and great ageing potential – Malescot Saint-Exupéry is now one of the appellation’s most exciting crus.

Bordeaux

Origin in Focus

Bordeaux

Bordeaux is one of the world’s most renowned wine regions – a name that has stood for elegance, diversity and ageing potential for centuries. Gravel, clay and limestone soils alternate, allowing fine nuances in the wines that reflect both terroir and craftsmanship.

Bordeaux is typically known for blends in which grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc work together harmoniously.

Stylistically, red Bordeaux wines are defined by a balance of fruit, structure and freshness. The white wines – usually made from Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon and sometimes Muscadelle – range from crisp and citrus-driven to creamy and complex.
