Description

France / Bordeaux / Médoc / Margaux

Château Malescot Saint-Exupéry, owes its name to the two previous owners: Simon Malescot; Owner of the winery in the 17th century and Baron Jean-Baptiste de Saint-Exupéry, great-grandfather of the author of "The Little Prince", owner of the winery in the 19th century. Located on an imposing pebble terroir up to 10 meters deep, the winery overlooks the Gironde River, which is one of the best indicators of very good terroir. The château was bought in 1955 by the Zuger family. Today, the third generation runs the 28-hectare, sustainably managed top winery with passion to produce exceptional wines. Malescot Saint-Exupéry is a finesse-rich and typical Margaux, which is one of the top wines of the appellation.
