Description
France / Bordeaux / Médoc / Margaux
Château Malescot Saint-Exupéry owes its name to two former owners: Simon Malescot, owner of the winery in the 17th century, and Baron Jean-Baptiste de Saint-Exupéry, great-grandfather of the author of "The Little Prince," who owned the winery in the 19th century. Situated on an imposing gravel terroir up to 10 meters deep, the winery overlooks the Gironde River, which is one of the best indicators of very good terroir. The Château was purchased by the Zuger family in 1955. Today, the third generation passionately manages the 28-hectare sustainably farmed top winery to produce exceptional wines. Malescot Saint-Exupéry is a finessed and typical Margaux, counted among the appellation's top wines.
