Grand Cru Classé

The 2014 Malescot-St-Exupéry has a clean, fresh and lively bouquet with aromas of blackberries, raspberries and cedar, with a hint of graphite emerging over time. The palate is medium-bodied with soft red berry fruits accompanied by cedar and graphite. The freshness is well-dosed, the pencil lead note intensifies in the finish, which shows a very fine persistence. I like the verve and class of this Margaux and I can imagine it offering two decades of drinking pleasure.
