The 2017 Château L'If is deep garnet purple in color and shows lovely aromas of crushed red cherries and black raspberries on the nose with notes of black plum, baking spices and roses, and a hint of Sichuan pepper. Medium-bodied, with wonderfully elegant tannins, lovely freshness, a lingering fruit on the mid-palate and a long, earthy finish .
