Grand Cru Classé

The 2016 L'If is medium to deep garnet-purple in color. It starts a little shy but then opens up and shows a beautiful personality with red and black plum, kirsch and rose aromas, as well as hints of tobacco and wild sage. Medium to full-bodied, the palate offers beautifully ripe, silky tannins and wonderful freshness that support the elegant, aromatic fruit throughout the long finish.
