Lisa Perrotti-Brown for Robert Parker
The 2015 Léoville Barton has a deep garnet-purple color and offers aromas of warm red currants, black raspberries and dark chocolate with hints of cigar box, violets and bay leaves. On the palate it is elegant, medium-bodied and of great freshness. Here the intense aromas of red fruits and the floral notes are well framed by firm, grainy tannins and it finishes with a persistent mineral note.
