2015

Premier Grand Cru Classé

Château Latour
France | Bordeaux | Pauillac
William Kelley for Robert Parker

The 2015 Latour is a rich and demonstrative vintage for this winery and it unfolds in the glass with aromas of dark berries, cassis, loamy soil, espresso roast, pencil shavings and a subtle hint of potpourri. Medium to full-bodied, supple and elegant, with a velvety attack that leads into a sweet, layered mid-palate, it is enveloping and complete, ending with a tasty finish. The tighter, more classic 2014 will likely prove more long-lived, while the 2015 Latour won't hurt to drink it young.
