Deep garnet-purple in colour, the 2016 Château Lascombes displays lovely aromas of candied violets, Black Forest gateau, cassis and menthol with hints of undergrowth, cloves, pencil lead and tar. Medium-bodied, with good intensity and firm, grainy tannins, it finishes long and aromatic.
