Description
France / Bordeaux / Graves / Pessac-Léognan
After Clarence Dillon bought Château Haut-Brion in 1935, he succeeded in restoring the winery to its former glory and elevating it to the elite circle of the world's most legendary wines. Today, the region's oldest Château is run by the fourth generation of the family, represented by Prince Robert of Luxembourg. Château Haut-Brion's special position is also evident in the fact that it is the only one of the 61 Châteaux classified in 1855 not located in the Médoc. 2015 was one of the warmest and driest years in Bordeaux. Ideal weather conditions for the vines. In August, the right amount of rain fell at exactly the right time, and for the harvest in September, it was warm and dry. Perfect conditions for a great Bordeaux vintage.
