Description

France / Bordeaux / Graves / Pessac-Léognan

After Clarence Dillon bought the Château Haut-Brion in 1935, he managed to build on the former fame of the winery and in the to rise among the elite circle of the most legendary wines in the world. Today, the oldest château in the region is run by the fourth generation of the family, represented by Prince Robert of Luxembourg. The special position of Château Haut-Brion is also reflected in the fact that it is the only one of the 61 châteaux classified in 1855 that is not in the Médoc. 2015 was one of the warmest and driest years in Bordeaux. Ideal weather conditions for the vines. The right amount of rain fell at just the right time in August and it was warm and dry for September's harvest. Perfect conditions for a great Bordeaux vintage.
