Château Cos d'Estournel Les Pagodes de Cos 2016
Description
Description
The château is named after the owner Louis Gaspard d'Estournel, whose travels to the Orient significantly influenced the design of the property, earning him the nickname " Maharaja of St. Estèphe". The statue "The Indian Elephant" greets visitors as they approach the château, and the elephant is also present in the beautifully designed tasting room. Michel Reybier, owner since 2000, has remained faithful to Louis Gaspard's avant-garde style. In addition, he has massively increased the quality of the wines. Les Pagodes de Cos is the second wine of the château. Before bottling, half of the wine ages for more than a year in oak barrels previously used for the Grand Vin Cos d'Estournel.
