Garnet-purple in color, the 2016 Beau-Séjour Becot is a little closed at first, but then opens up to reveal beautiful aromas of chocolate-covered cherries, pickled plums and black raspberries with hints of brewed tea, tobacco, red roses and cinnamon stick. Full-bodied and packed with aromatic fruit layers , it has a rock-solid framework of ripe, fine-grained tannins, black fruits and spicy notes on the finish.
