Description

Dom Pérignon is named after the Benedictine monk Pérignon, who decisively developed the Méthode champenoise further in the 17th century. Today it is considered an ingenious combination of tradition and modern art by the cellar master. The 2008 Dom Pérignon is considered the best vintage since 1996 and an absolutely exceptional vintage. This extraordinary champagne is the last that the renowned cellar master Richard Geoffroy created for Pérignon. At Dom Pérignon, the vintages determine when they are presented. The 2008 took more time to develop. Thus, in an unprecedented event in the history of the House, the 2009 vintage was presented before the 2008 vintage.
