The 2017 Dut Un shimmers golden yellow in the glass. Intense aromas of mango, pineapple, apricots and ripe peaches on the nose. On the palate, this exceptional wine is incredibly elegant, wonderfully smooth and yet so concentrated, with honey notes and a very fine, fresh minerality. Excellent body and long endurance.

Vie de Romans

Vie di Romans is an outstanding winery in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region of north-eastern Italy. The winery has earned a reputation for producing exquisite wines that reflect the unique terroirs of this region.

The Gallo family has been closely linked to winemaking for over 100 years. Gianfranco, who has managed the family winery since 1978, has established himself as a grand master of white wines from Friuli.

Gianfranco Gallo produces exclusively single-vineyard wines with extremely high quality standards. His wines are among the absolute best. 

The Vie di Romans vineyards extend over about 55 hectares and are located in the hills of Mariano del Friuli, near the Slovenian border. The soils here are composed of calcareous clay and are particularly suitable for the cultivation of grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Merlot and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso.
