One of the best vintages of the iconic Seña wine, the 2021 Seña comes from a cooler year, following the 2016 and 2018 vintages, which were certainly cooler than 2020 and 2019. It impresses with an extremely expressive nose that is elegant, nuanced, aromatic, subtle and pure, with finesse, layered and complex. It is finely structured and juicy, similar to the 2018 vintage, but with more finesse. It has the spicy/herbaceous note of the Cabernet, ultra-fine tannins that give it great elegance, and remarkable length, purity and clarity. Outstanding!

The Chilean winery Viña Seña was founded in 1955 from the joint venture of winemaking legend Robert Mondavi and Eduardo Chadwick, one of the most respected Chilean winemakers.

Both recognized the potential of the wine region in the Aconcagua Valley and began to plant and sustainably cultivate a vineyard in a cool location at the foot of the almost 7,000 meter high Aconcagua mountain. The location offers optimal conditions for growing quality wines, including a variety of soils, an ideal climate and high levels of sunshine.

Here they produce the fresh, elegant cult wine Seña, which has been one of the best wines in the world since the sensational Berlin Tasting in 2004.
