The 2019 Seña has good freshness and is medium-bodied, elegant and balanced. Even at this early stage, it is incredibly elegant, subtle and harmonious. It has floral aromas, notes of orange peel, a hint of creamy-sweet spices and great freshness. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and pure, with pronounced aromas and a soft texture. It is long, clean, defined and very tasty. I feel that this wine gets better from vintage to vintage.

The Chilean winery Viña Seña was founded in 1955 from the joint venture of winemaking legend Robert Mondavi and Eduardo Chadwick, one of the most respected Chilean winemakers.

Both recognized the potential of the wine region in the Aconcagua Valley and began to plant and sustainably cultivate a vineyard in a cool location at the foot of the almost 7,000 meter high Aconcagua mountain. The location offers optimal conditions for growing quality wines, including a variety of soils, an ideal climate and high levels of sunshine.

Here they produce the fresh, elegant cult wine Seña, which has been one of the best wines in the world since the sensational Berlin Tasting in 2004.
