The 2016 Prieuré-Lichine has a medium to deep garnet purple color and a powerful, intensely fragrant nose of warm blackcurrant, black raspberry and mulberry with hints of cedar, tobacco, dried herbs and iron ore. On the palate it is medium-bodied and has plenty of class with lovely, lively flavors of black berries and earthy notes framed by ripe, grainy tannins, and finishes long and refreshing .
