Grand Cru Classé

The 2014 Prieuré-Lichine has a reserved, slightly tertiary/gravelly colored bouquet that needs time to develop the fruit behind it. Then on the nose there is an inviting scent of cassis, red fruits, subtle tobacco and cloves. On the palate it is medium-bodied with fine, still strong tannins, which soften towards the finish and still need to develop a little. Recommended as an accompaniment to food and particularly suitable for short-term enjoyment.
