Description
France / Bordeaux / Pomerol
Château Pétrus, founded in the 18th century, received little international attention in the first 200 years. In 1945, the then owners, Madame Loubat, succeeded in producing a highly regarded wine of the century. Since then, the winery has managed to further increase the quality of its wines. Under the renowned Moeuix family of winemakers, Château Pétrus became the absolute star among the top wineries in the Bordeaux appellation and the great Pomerol is a fixture in the cellars of passionate wine collectors and wine investors. Out of the last ten vintages (2008-2018) from talented top winemakers Christian Moueix and Olivier Berrouet, five have received the highest award of 100 Parker points.
