Château Palmer 2019
Description
Description
Over several decades, the Mähler-Besse and Sichel families have contributed significantly to the international renown of the winery with exceptional vintages. Today, Château Palmer is considered one of the leading Grand Crus of the famous Margaux appellation. At the beginning of the 20th century, Château Palmer produced a few barrels of white wine exclusively for its own consumption. This tradition continued until the late 1930s and only ended with the outbreak of war. In the late 1990s, a discovery was made in the winery's cellars: two bottles of Vin Blanc de Palmer from 1925. The long-lost wine gave the winemakers an idea. In the early 2000s, white grape varieties were replanted, and the 2007 vintage marked the rebirth of Vin Blanc de Palmer.
