Château Palmer Vin Blanc de Palmer 2019

The two families Mähler-Besse and Sichel have made a significant contribution to the international reputation of the winery over the decades with exceptional vintages. Today, Château Palmer is considered one of the leading Grand Crus of the famous Margaux appellation. At the beginning of the 20th century, Château Palmer produced a few barrels of white wine exclusively for its own use. This tradition continued into the late 1930s and only ended with the outbreak of war. In the late 1990s, a discovery was made in the winery's cellars: two bottles of Vin Blanc de Palmer from 1925. The long-lost wine gave the winemakers an idea. White grape varieties were planted again in the early 2000s and the 2007 vintage marked the rebirth of Vin Blanc de Palmer.
