Description

France / Bordeaux / Médoc / Pauillac

In 1993, Baroness Philippine created a second wine, Le Petit Mouton de Mouton Rothschild, which quickly found its place among wine lovers. It is made from grapes from selected younger vines and is harvested, vinified and bottled in the same way as the first crop - the grapes are collected in small baskets, the wine is fermented in the famous oak barrels of Mouton and aged in Matured in barrels using the traditional method. Everything is done to ensure that the wine expresses the elegance and depth of a great Pauillac. The label is inspired by a drawing by Jean Carlu, the famous poster artist responsible for the very first Mouton label, for the 1924 vintage.

Château Mouton Rothschild

Château Mouton Rothschild In the sun-drenched Pauillac region of Bordeaux, where the Gironde River elegantly carves its way to the Atlantic Ocean, lies a winery that has woven itself into the legend of wine. The name Château Mouton Rothschild, one of only five Premier Cru estates in Bordeaux, is spoken with reverence by wine connoisseurs around the world. The eventful history of Château Mouton Rothschild is as rich and complex as the wines it produces. The transformation of the estate from a modest vineyard in the early 18th century to its current status as a Premier Cru reflects the rise of its great wines. However, it was only under the visionary leadership of Baron Philippe de Rothschild that the château truly became a beacon among Bordeaux's châteaux. Château Mouton Rothschild cannot be properly described without delving into the world of art. Since 1945, each vintage of Mouton Rothschild has been adorned with a unique label designed by renowned artists. Picasso, Chagall, Warhol and many others have dedicated their artistic talent to these labels. This tradition not only emphasizes the aesthetic appeal of the wine, but also acts as a visual representation of the character of each vintage. The unmistakable style of Mouton Rothschild is a tribute to the Bordeaux tradition, where finesse and structure are in perfect balance. At the same time
